A bit of roller derby action for you! Here's the low-down: 2 teams of 5 female skaters (4 blockers, 1 jammer) skate alongside each other in a pack formation. The jammers must make their way through the pack and are awarded points based on their success. What makes it amusing is rarely the finesse, strategy, or skill, rather 'tis the fairly frequent oft-revenge-based physical contact. Both the crowd and the players are curious cross-sections of society. The question is...did this make me more or less proud of being woman?!

Well...Mr./Ms. Anonymous...that seems a bit circular...perhaps the issue was uncertainty about pride in THEIR womanhood :) And for the record, I'd believe I'd make a wondrous male (big...very big...smile)as everyone has a little woman in them!
