With the company of coworkers, I took on my first big hill...12,276 ft high...the 2nd highest mountain in the state. Really, it was a long hike with crampons and ice axes. We started hiking at 4:00 am and got back to camp at about 5:00 pm. A long day, but quite gratifying!

the biggest rush of a lifetime?

One of my sicker tendencies is upkeep of a list I refer to as my "Things To Do Before I Die" list. It tends to grow, rather than diminish. In an attempt to reduce it by one, I harassed 11 other coworkers and their significant others into skydiving. For some reason, people see this as a risky sport...odd...getting in a car wreck AND dying on the way to such venture is statistically more likely. The pictures above document the experience fairly well...though I hope this wasn't the biggest rush of my lifetime.

Four coworkers and myself successfully completed this 12k in Spokane, WA. While exercise, this race was most entertaining...drummers on the hills, crazy constumes, and other eccentricities present because of 40,000ish finishers.
